Functional Features

  • Rich Interfaces: It has four 25 – pin multiprotocol EIA – 232 – D serial ports, which can be configured as EIA – 232 – D DTE or DCE via jumpers. There is also an Ethernet port, a SCSI port, a printer port, and an internal modem connection.
  • Compatibility: It is compatible with MVME147, MVME1600, MVME162, MVME2600, MVME167, MVME2700, MVME177, MVME3600, MVME4600 and other models, facilitating integration into existing VME – based systems.
  • Signal Routing: It routes I/O signals and grounds from the P2 connector on the chassis backplane to the front – panel connectors. The P2 adapter board (not included) is required for signal routing and also provides functions such as SCSI cable connection, SCSI terminator power, and signal connection.
  • Protection Features: The front – panel has radio – frequency interference (RFI) protection and electrostatic – discharge (ESD) protection.
