Functional Features：
- Gateway Function: It provides an interface between GE Profinet I/O controllers and Genius I/O devices on a Genius serial bus. It scans connected Genius I/O devices, retrieves input data, and sends output data, then exchanges the I/O data with the Profinet I/O controller over Ethernet links.
- Redundancy Support: It supports Genius hot standby and duplex redundancy. It can be set up in a redundant configuration, and also supports Ethernet media redundancy protocol (MRP).
- Compatibility: It is compatible with RX3i CPE 330, RX3i CPE 302/CPE 305/CPE 310 with firmware version 8.15 or later, RX3i CPU 315/CPU 320/CRU 320 with firmware version 8.15 or later, etc.
- Hot – swap Capability: It has the hot – swap capability, although it requires power disconnection.
- Auto Cable Detection: It can automatically detect cables and works with both straight – through and crossover cables.
