Function Features
- Multiple Input Channels: It has six 4 – to – 20 mA input circuits with isolated channels, which can simultaneously monitor multiple analog signals, providing enhanced connectivity and versatility.
- Programmable Conversion Time: The input conversion time can be programmed from 16 ms to 400 ms. As the conversion time lengthens, the resolution notably increases. For example, the input resolution is 1 µA for a 200 – ms conversion time.
- Configurable Alarm Limits: Each input circuit can have upper and lower alarm limits programmed. When either limit is exceeded, the block will indicate a fault and send a message to the handheld monitor and CPU.
- Communication and Configuration: It supports the Genius communication protocol and can be configured using a handheld monitor. The user can set values for circuit scaling, turn fault reporting on/off, and decide how output feedback errors are handled. If communication with the CPU is interrupted, the user can choose whether the block output holds at its last state or reverts to default settings.
- Integrated Converter: It includes an integrated voltage – to – frequency converter that transforms analog current signals into digital signals for easier processing and analysis.
